From Mums & Bubs to Bootcamp: How to Keep Your Fitness (and Sanity) Post-Maternity Leave

ree

We absolutely love our mums! The Mums & Bubs sessions are one of the warmest parts of our community, and it’s all thanks to the incredible women who show up, support each other and the nannies who make it all possible. Our amazing carers are absolute gold, keeping little ones happy so you can take an hour for yourself to move, sweat, and reconnect.

But as we all know, maternity leave doesn’t last forever. And when it’s time to head back to work, those 9:30am sessions often no longer fit into the daily juggle. That’s why we’ve created a natural transition from Mums & Bubs to our early morning Bootcamp sessions.

Bootcamp runs at 6am, giving you the chance to train before the household wakes up, keeping your hard earned fitness going and staying connected to our community.

Still not sure how it works? Hear from long-standing member Sal, who’s navigated this transition more than once with her three kids:

"Having 3 little ones, I’ve bounced between ‘Mums and Bubs’ and being a ‘Bootcamper’ for over 8 years.

Each time I was on maternity leave, I threw myself into Mums & Bubs. I loved the social interaction, watching the pregnancy weight drop, and having a blissful hour kid-free!

Then when work loomed and the newborn bubble burst, I eased into a mix of mums and early Bootcamp sessions to suit my part-time schedule. That helped me transition into full Bootcamp mode when I returned to work.

5 reasons I love the transition:

  1. Kids do eventually sleep! I can do a 6am session and be home before they even wake up.

  2. The format feels familiar so I wasn’t overwhelmed by a whole new program.

  3. The Bootcamp crew is so welcoming. Many are parents too, juggling just like me.

  4. I didn’t want to lose the fitness I worked so hard for during maternity leave. With toddlers on the move, I needed more energy, not less!

  5. Getting back into work mode is tough. Early morning training gives me focus and clarity to face the day ahead."

So if you’re heading back to work and wondering how to keep up your fitness routine we’ve got you. You’re not starting from scratch. You’re simply stepping into a new rhythm, with the same community behind you every step of the way.

Ready to make the shift? Bootcamp is waiting for you, early, efficient, energising, and full of friendly faces.
